About
Velocity Corvette Club was first conceived in December 2005, and opened the club in August 2006. With the mission to direct the evolution of corvette ownership, the club aims to build on the spirit of the Corvette and further enhance the reputation of America’s sports car. We are proud member of the Corvette Clubs of Greater Houston (CCGH) car clubs.
Membership
The Velocity Corvette Club builds on the Corvette’s rich heritage by providing a meeting place for enthusiasts to share in the past, and experience the future. Club members enjoy regular social and driving events, discounts on parts and merchandise, and the ability to network with other Corvette owners.
Mission
To direct the evolution of Corvette ownership.
Vision
The Velocity Corvette Club (VCC) is an elite club catering to all year/model Corvette owners that have a passion for performance and desire to share their skills and talents in pursuit of the club’s mission. VCC aims to develop camaraderie, enthusiasm, and loyalty among its members through social events and the dissemination of technical information.
Tenets:
- Respect: Members will respect each other. If your idea of fun is making everyone else miserable, you are not candidate for membership.
- Fun: Politics are for the office, we are in VCC to get away from work and have a good time with friends.
- Help: Take only what you need and give back what you can.
- Support the Club: VCC is a reflection of its members. If you are not proud to be club member and support the club then there must be a problem with the club. All members are required to place the small VCC window sticker on their Corvette as VCC club members are both stewards and ambassadors of the club. These small acts symbolize the fact that we as club members are willing to move past our differences for the benefit of the club and its members.
Club Events
The Velocity Corvette Club hosts many types of events throughout the year that cater to the interests of Corvette owners. The event calendar is based on the input of the various member committees.
