SEMA 2007 - Texas CorvetteLast week Velocity Corvette went to Las Vegas to attend the 2007 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show.  The SEMA Show is one of the largest trade shows of its kind so naturally the best and most innovative products are showcased.  The show is only open to industry buyers and provides a look into the newest parts, tools, and components on the market.  This was our first time to attend SEMA so when we arrived at the Las Vegas Convention Center we quickly realized that there would be a lot of ground to cover.

With more than 2,000 exhibitors participating in the show we were on a mission to find the latest Corvette trends related to racing, performance, and accessories.  We will be highlighting the product lines from the following manufactures in the near future:

  • Centerforce

  • AFR Airflow Research

  • Bilstein

  • STS Turbos

  • Procharger

  • Restek Silcosteel

Overall it was an informative and successful trip.  After talking with the exhibitors and looking at all of the new products it’s too bad that I didn’t hit the jackpot or win the Z06 as I would have plenty of modification choices to make.
